Trina's Raggedy of the Month!
This is "Kristin". You may wonder why her name isn't the traditional "Raggedy Ann". (After all, isn't this the Raggedy of the Month page?) Well, as you can see, Kristin is not a traditional Raggedy Ann. She is a hand-made Chinese version of Raggedy Ann that was given to me as a Christmas gift by my Aunt Lani in 1976. My mom suggested that I give her a special name, since she was such a special doll. We both thought it would be appropriate to name her "Kristin", which is my middle name.
Kristin usually wears the red jacket that is displayed next to her. When I unwrapped her on Christmas morning, my grandmother immediately knew that she needed a special chinese jacket to wear on formal occasions.

This is a photo of Kristin and I on Christmas Morning after I unwrapped her. Is it me, or is there a strong resemblance between us?
