This Raggedy Ann is one of the older "vintage" dolls in my collection. I bought her at the first dollshow that I attended in 1988 or 1989. I believe she was the first doll I had ever bought that wasn't "new", and I liked the thought of her having a previous life/lives with other people. I now find myself fascinated everytime I acquire a new vintage doll about their history. I wonder what stories they would tell if they could talk.
This Raggedy Ann was made by The Georgene Novelties Co. I believe she is from the late 50s. She is in wonderful condition, and has all of her original clothes. She stands about 20" tall.
