Childhood comforts
I promise that my blog will be interesting again someday...
As I mentioned before, my chest is completely congested, and I spend all my waking hours coughing. Dick went to Wallgreens today, and picked up a jar of Vicks Vaporub for me.
I haven't used this stuff since I was a kid. I was sick often when I was growing up, and had a lot of upper respiratory problems. My Mom used to use Vicks Vaporub on me, and it always made me feel better.
I put some on tonight, and that smell immediately brought back all kinds of childhood memories. It was actually very comforting. Plus, I forgot how well this product really works! I can't believe it hasn't been in my medicine cabinet all these years :)
