My Mid-West Vacation, Day 2
Day 2 of my fabulous Mid-West vacation brought me to one of my favorite places: the Art Institute of Chicago. It's one of my favorite museums in the world. I love coming here.
On my way to the museum, I passed by Millennium Park. Tammy took me here a couple of years ago - such a cool, and interesting space! So much to see!
The new Modern Wing of the museum just opened a couple of months ago! Great timing! The new wing is gorgeous - great lines, and light.
All of the windows on the side of the wing look out over Millennium Park. Very pretty.
As much as I love the Art Institute, the highlight of my trip downtown was spending time and having lunch with my dear friend, Jason!
